My Story

I'm an equine vet from Limerick and have ridden ponies from childhood.  I have show jumped to National GP Level and have ridden racehorses intermittently as my career allowed over the years.  I am now riding out every morning.  I have the opportunity to compete in this race while raising awareness and much-needed funds for Irish Injured Jockeys.

As part of my challenge not only am I aiming to raise €3,000 for Irish Injured Jockeys, but I will also need to maintain my weight and fitness throughout and engage in race coaching to understand how to ride a race effectively. 

All money raised goes to supporting the incredible work of the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund and your donation is greatly appreciated.  I look forward to seeing you at the home of The Classics, The Curragh Racecourse on 21st July 2024.
